Note that, unlike systems with chemical water treatment (like water softener), for systems with circulation of the water the WS water conditioner should be installed on the circulation pipe, not at the pipe with make-up water. Electronic water conditioners do not change the composition of the water like chemical systems, but prevent (inhibit) deposition of limescale on the heating surfaces.

For protection of the group of heat exchangers (three or more in parallel), we recommend installing a second WS water conditioner on the pipe with heated water. The electromagnetic field of the device is distributed through the pipes, tubes, and the plates of boilers, heat exchangers, in both directions - upstream and downstream. Each split of the pipes will divide the signal by two and in the tube plate - in accordance with the number of pipes. Therefore, to protect a group of three or more heat exchangers from limescale, the power of a single device may not be enough to protect all plates and tubes of the heat exchangers. Installing the second device will help properly protect the equipment.

If the system works with very hard water, or "technical" water, please use the additional water conditioner and install it on the make-up pipeline. This enhances the effect of the first water conditioner.

General recommendations.

Please do not place the WS electronic water softener before the storage tank, water pump or a mechanical filter. The signal will dampen (lose its power) and you will not get the full effect.

One of the components of the WS water conditioner action is induction of electromagnetic waves with so-called resonant standing wave effect in pipes with the water. A certain distance is necessary for them to occur. In this connection, installing the WS water conditioner on pipelines with a length of at least 6.5 ft. (2 meters) by the pipe length is recommended. The pipe shape does not matter.

It is desirable to locate the WS water conditioner approximately in the middle of the selected pipe. The main thing is not to be very close to the boiler, heat exchanger, water tank, filter and so on, but at some distance from them.
